The Manchester Briefing on COVID-19: Database of international lessons for Recovery and Renewal

What is 'The Manchester Briefing on COVID-19' database?

The Manchester Briefing on COVID-19 is a fortnightly document aimed at those who plan and implement recovery and renewal from COVID-19, including government emergency planners and resilience officers. We bring together international lessons and examples which may prompt your thinking on recovery and renewal, as well as other information from a range of sources.

We have developed this database to bring together all of the lessons we have shared through The Manchester Briefing. You can explore all of the lessons on this site through a free text search or via the six topics within our recovery framework below: Communities; Economic; Infrastructure; Environment; Health; and Governance. If you would like to search via free text, go to the 'Lessons for Resilience' tab and enter your preferred phrase in the free text function on the left.
